World Hindu Centres exists to keep the Sanatana tradition alive and teachable. Our Rishikesh centre sits in the Himalayan foothills beside the Ganges — the town where this practice has been handed down for centuries — and teaches classical yoga, asana, kriya, pranayama and meditation alongside traditional Ayurvedic care.
We run 200, 300 and 500-hour yoga teacher training courses alongside shorter meditation and Ayurveda retreats. Morning satsang, scripture study and the festival calendar are open to everyone staying with us, at no extra cost — they are part of the centre, not an add-on.
Groups stay small and our teachers live on campus, so instruction is personal rather than delivered to a room. An Ayurvedic doctor and therapy rooms on site support the practice as the tradition intends, and every course fee helps fund the centre's community work.

Our teachers stay on campus, so you practise with the same faces every day.
Past twelve a teacher stops correcting people and starts managing a room.
Morning satsang, scripture study and the festival calendar, open to everyone staying.
A resident Ayurvedic doctor and therapy rooms, not a spa menu sold at reception.
Everything a residential stay needs, so nothing pulls your attention away from the practice.
Our yoga and Ayurveda retreats in Rishikesh give you space to step away from daily noise and return to yourself. Set in the Himalayan foothills beside the Ganges, each retreat blends kriya and gentle Hatha practice, guided meditation and authentic Ayurvedic therapies.
Whether you have three days or two weeks, our teachers shape the schedule around your pace — so beginners and experienced practitioners feel equally at home.
